Holiday Casual | Olive Green and Sherpa Vest
Hi friends! Happy holiday week! Do you guys have to work this week? I'm working Monday - Wednesday, but am fortunate to get Thursday and Friday off. I'm so excited for a few days off to relax and spend time with family! Today, I'm going to be showing off another casual outfit with some of my recent favorites. Both the top and the vest I have worn to work with slacks and different accessories, so I really like these pieces as versatile staples.
This olive green top I also have in grey and they are so soft! I picked this up on sale at Old Navy a few weeks ago for only $10! I think regular price they are still only $20 - these are definitely worth it. I like to wear this with slacks and a scarf to work or under blazers or cardigans. It also comes in like 10 colors, I should probably pick up some more next time I’m there. Anyways, I really like to use olive as an "interesting" neutral - I have olive work pants that I do the same with. I know the camo trend is very big right now, not quite on board with it, but I can dig the army green :) I've paired this top with a cream sherpa vest from Target. I actually bought this vest for part of my Halloween costume, but have really gotten a lot of wear from it! It's an easy chic layer for warmth ~and~ style. Perfect as the temperatures drop.
I've paired these two pieces with just basics - a pair of LOFT skinnies with a raw hem, nude pointed flats, and these really cool pearl earrings. I pretty much always wear pearl earrings, but these have an interesting wrap around detail that I thing brings a little some extra (all about the extra).
I wore this outfit out to dinner with friends a few weeks ago and just paired it with my normal neutral makeup and big waves. I really love this neutral lipstick, it's one of my go-tos. It's kind of like a "my lips but better" lipstick that has a really nice texture. It also smells incredible, bonus! I linked it below, check it out.
