Review | Baggallini for Work with Stripes
Happy Monday! How was everyone's Thanksgiving holiday? I thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend, most of which I spent with my family. We have always tried to do something fun with my extended family on Friday after Thanksgiving (yes, Black Friday) and this year we decided to have a "craft day". Sounds ridiculous, but it was actually super fun. We painted wine glasses, made some string art and Christmas ornaments, and basically sat around a giant table and chatted the whole day. It was really lovely, I think it'll become a new tradition!
Today, I'm here to talk about the wonderful brand, Baggallini. I recently attended their store opening at the Mall of America and really enjoyed meeting their team and checking out their products. A few years ago, my boyfriend's mom gave me their Cross Over Crossbody, which I used to travel abroad, and I can't say enough positive things about it. These bags are built for travel and work - they have every pocket you could possibly imagine and can hold SO MUCH STUFF without looking giant. AND they are built to last. They are water resistant material and truly don't show signs of wear. I lugged this bag all over the world and back, and honestly, it looks nearly new.
At the event I attended, I received the Brussels Laptop Backpack in charcoal and honestly, I love it. I have been hunting for a new work bag (in case you missed it, I travel for work nearly 100% so my work bag is my life haha) that can fit all my stuff but still look cute, and I think I have found it! I have purchased and returned FIVE different bags to try and fill this role, so this is kind of a miracle. This bag holds 2 computers, all my cords and chargers I need for work, my planner (CRITICAL!), and all my normal travel things I need - you know, kleenex, headphones, chapstick, extra pens, ear plugs, etc... I carry a ton of stuff on a daily basis, and this bag seems to fit it all without problem and still look cute and manageable. The most exciting part for me is the fact that all the bags from Baggallini's "International" line come with the strap that holds a back onto a suitcase. This is so important for those who rush through airports frequently! I'm pretty jazzed to use this bag for work - I'll report back with a status update in a couple weeks with how it holds up. :)
Baggallini also has a new line of travel items - things like tech pouches, toiletry cases, even suitcases. I am now using their tech pouch and their TSA toiletry case. There are tons of great stocking stuffers in their travel section - check it out. The Baggallini team is also giving a discount to my readers - use code MallOfAmerica-TB5-HXS-KN3-RMC for 25% off any item and a free wrislet with purchase!
Really quick, I will recap my outfit with this super cute bag as well. I wanted to really highlight the gold hardware and charcoal color of the bag, so I stuck with neutrals. I have my favorite navy pants on, a pair of pinky-nude flats on, and a striped turtleneck. I'm kind of obsessed with this striped turtleneck and probably wear it too much, but oh well. I've topped it off with my sherpa vest from Target, which I'm really surprised by how much I wear this. I constantly find myself gravitating toward it in my closet, it's a perfect way to add interesting texture to your outfit (for career or casual) without adding color or pattern. LOVE IT.
* Disclaimer: I was given the backpack and travel items by the team at Baggallini. With that said, the opinions and words here are my own.
