Hope Chest Fashion | Capelette Review
Today, I am partnering with Hope Chest Fashion to bring you this post. I am reviewing their Park Slope Convertible Capelette and the Casablanca Silver Tassel Necklace. This capelette is a super versatile (and convertible) sweater that can be worn as a vest or a cape. Above, I am wearing it as a cape - below you can see pictures of me wearing it as a vest. The layer that makes the front of the vest kind of drapey is what becomes the cape fold over in the back - very easy to wear and style. Also, you can flip it 180 degrees (i.e. wear the arm holes upside down) to wear it either longer or shorter. I prefer to wear it flipped so it's longer and a little more dramatic. I received this in a gorgeous wine color, it's a very dark purple burgundy color; this will be great for the holidays. The knit is really fine and thick, it's definitely warm and cozy. I plan to wear this a lot to the office as a second layer.
For this outfit, I paired it with my black jeans and a long sleeve striped turtle neck. This is the same turtle neck I styled for the stripes series (post 1 and post 2) I did a while ago, just in black and white instead. It's a comfy layer under sweaters, blazers, and the like. Then, I'm wearing black booties and of course, the silver tassel necklace. This necklace is a delicate Y-style and is perfect for layering over work or casual tops. The quality and style of both Hope Chest Fashion pieces is pretty incredible, especially for the price! I genuinely recommend you check out their store.
