Delicate & Feminine | Tie Sleeved Top
Feeling extra girly with these photos, today! Happy Friday! How was your first week of the new year? Mine was overall pretty okay. I am (fortunately) not travelling for the next couple weeks, so I've been able to get a ton of things done. Returns from the holidays, errands, and some fun things too :) Biggest news is that we had to cancel our purchase agreement on our house yesterday... Tucker & I are feeling a little heartbroken. The seller does not want to repair the sewer pipe problem and we've decided that's a deal breaker - it might not be a problem right now, but it could be one in the future (read: sinkhole) that we don't want to take the risk on. We're starting the hunt again this evening with our wonderful realtor. Honestly though, if anyone is house hunting in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro - email me for a recommendation, she's great.
In the meantime, we've been trying to keep warm with lots of baking (watch this Pinterest board to see what I'm cooking up) and an attempt at indoor photos! It has been so freaking cold outside that shooting outside is nearly impossible. We did just order a fancy lighting kit that should be fun to play with :)
This feminine outfit is just simple basics thrown together. I bought this pretty top at the Banana in Dallas. I was on a work trip and realized that the shirt I had packed for the next day was completely see-through and hadn't packed a cami... oops. Luckily, I was staying close to a few shops and was able to find something easily! It's a light blue color that look great on any skin tone, a classic business color. The ties on the three-quarter sleeves add a little detail without being overwhelming. This looks great with a big chunky necklace or bright shoes - orrr the fun earrings I'm wearing!
BaubleBar recently launched a line at Target called Sugarfix and I. am. obsessed. I had a gift card from a return and found this adorable two set of these tiered earrings - pink and silver! These would be an awesome gift (they come in a really cute box too), or just something fun to pick up for yourself :) I've surprised myself with how much I've already worn the pink ones - they seem to go with most anything!
I also have another pretty item on to complete the outfit - this pretty bracelet is from The Silver Loft. They sent me a few pieces (I talked about a ring from them previously). Anyways, The Silver Loft has tons of customizable jewelry that is both gorgeous and great quality, at totally reasonable price points. This gold bracelet has a simple heart imprinted, it's a classic style that goes with anything. I highly recommend this brand, please check them out. I will definitely be ordering again with them!
Since when do I wear such interesting jewelry...?! I guess I'm into it now. What's your favorite accessory?
